ARNOLD GARRON
Northeast Regional Board
Arnold Garron has been involved with FCA since he was eleven years old. He has a long history of leadership, both in athletics and business, and is always quick to find joy in the midst of whatever challenge faces him. As a former NFL player for both the Washington Redskins and New England Patriots and current Vice President of National Sales in Payout Annuities for John Hancock, Garron has an invaluable perspective to offer the Northeast FCA region.
A native of Framingham, Massachusetts, Garron has been involved with sports ministry at every level of his athletic career. As a standout football player and track star for Framingham South, he stayed faithfully plugged in with FCA’s local ministry. While earning All-American, All-New England, and All-Yankee Conference honors as a defensive back at the University of New Hampshire, he helped to start the campus’s first FCA huddle. He continued to grow in his faith at the professional level as well.
“As an athlete, I grew in my walk with Christ, learning what it meant to balance being both a Christian and an athlete. I was able to work with other students at UNH, and I was also involved at the Redskins. I want others to know you can be both a Christian and an athlete. Christ-like characteristics follow you everywhere—whether on the football field or track or socializing. It’s a walk of courage.”
Garron, who worked his way through the ranks at John Hancock to his current position, also finds time to give back to his local community. He has won two state championships as a coach at the youth football level and has served on boards for the Boys and Girls Club and John Hancock’s diversity program.
Garron currently resides in Bedford, New Hampshire with his wife, Stacey, and three children: P.J. (14), Zachary (10), and Allesandra (6). He earned a BA from the UNH School of Business and an MBA from the Harvard Business School of Management.
