Nathan Bliss and his wife, Julia, live in the Syracuse, New York area with their three children; Lucy, Daniel, and Karolyn. Nathan and his family have seen God use FCA to dramatically mark their lives even as they’ve watched God transform the lives of coaches and athletes throughout the Northeast.

As a former collegiate athlete and high school coach, Bliss witnessed firsthand the influence coaches possess. It was a coach who led Nathan to Christ while he was in college. It was another coach that led the first Bible study, an FCA Huddle, Nathan attended. Years later, it was yet another coach who introduced Nathan to an opportunity to serve on staff with FCA. Those experiences deeply inform Nathan’s resolve to ensure that FCA remains steadfast in ministering to and through the coach.

Since joining FCA staff in 2011, the Dallas Theological Seminary graduate has served as the Campus Director at Syracuse University, Regional Coordinator of Ministry Advancement, Regional International Coordinator, and State Director. Throughout that time, God made it abundantly clear that without Him we can do nothing, but with God all things are possible!

As Nathan transitions into the Regional Vice President position for the Northeast Region, he is eager to see the Northeast team build on the incredible foundation that God established through Sean McNamara’s fantastic leadership.
