SCOTT HARRISON

Scott Harrison’s love for Christ and for lacrosse make him a natural fit to help guide FCA Northeast’s ministry. Growing up in New Canaan, CT, Harrison picked up a lacrosse stick in the fourth grade and never put it down. In high school, he played attack and faced off for the New Canaan Rams winning the CT and FCIAC championships in 1990. He was awarded All-American honors in 1991 and All-State in 1990 and 1991.

While attending Duke University, Harrison played lacrosse and was named a two-time All-American and a USILA Academic All-American. It was there that he first became involved with FCA, participating in their campus huddle. And, in 1993 he played for FCA Lacrosse in the prestigious Vail, CO Shootout. “I have a lot of respect for FCA’s mission of using sports as a platform to introduce people to Christ – it is extremely relevant in our culture,” Harrison said.

Since 2013, Harrison has served as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for a private equity firm in New Canaan, CT. He has extensive Private Equity, M&A, Strategic Planning, Financial and Administrative experience with high-growth companies across a broad range of industries. Previously, Harrison was CFO of a national facilities service business and a building products company. Earlier in his career, he managed strategic planning and pricing for a large industrial manufacturer and held various positions in private equity and investment banking.

Harrison received a B.A. in economics from Duke University and an M.B.A. from Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business. He resides in New Canaan with his wife and three young daughters. The family attends Grace Community Church.
