WILL THOMPSON

REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF INTERNATIONAL ADVANCEMENT

Will Thompson and his wife, Kimberly, live in the Atlanta, Georgia area with their four children -- Lily, Daniel, Caleb, and Mia. Lily and Daniel were both born in Tokyo, Japan, where the family served as missionaries for 9 years to start FCA in Japan.

When Will was 6, God called his family to Japan for 5 years. As Will grew up there, attending a Japanese international school, playing Japanese baseball and traveling around Asia, he connected deeply with the Japanese culture and their mutual love for baseball.

Will played baseball at Wheaton College and continued to travel to Japan for study and mission work. In 2010, he began working with major leaguer Matt Murton to help him use his platform to share the Gospel as he played in Japan.

Will moved to Japan full time in May, 2012 to start FCA in Japan, working with Murton and other athletes to reach out to thousands of coaches, athletes, and fans across the country. He also helped start a baseball ministry with FCA in South Korea. Will has served FCA as the Area Representative for Japan, Country Director for Japan, and the Director of Ministry Advancement for the East Global Division.

As Regional Director of International Advancement for the Northeast Region, he is eager to see God move through the Northeast team and our teammates in East Asia to advance His Kingdom.

Will has lived short-term in the Dominican Republic, Argentina and Chile as well as 14 years in Japan. He speaks Japanese and Spanish and has served in ministry projects in Japan, the U.S., South Korea, Cambodia, the UK, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Mexico and Peru.
